Singles Exhibition Event Friday August 26, 2022
The Truckee Meadows Pickleball club is hosting a “Singles Pickleball” event Friday at the Reno Tennis Center.
We are fortunate to have the City of Reno donate Friday August 26 for our use. We are holding this event to gauge the interest in singles pickleball. If we generate enough interest, we will propose adding singles pickleball to future senior games.
Play is free to club members and $15 for non-club members. Registration is not required but we would appreciate an email sent to myself (alan.clark776@gmail.com) to let us know how many players to expect.
This is open to all skill levels and both men and women. We encourage coed play but will respect requests to have women only and men only play if desired. This is very informal and I will be working with you on that day to organize play formats. We will have full court singles and skinny singles (use one side of court or diagonal courts). We will adjust length of games and structure (round robin, brackets, etc.) based on the interest of the group.
This is a chance to try out singles and get some help or bring your best game and play hard.
