JOLLY JAMBOREE EVENT DAY STUFF
CAPTAINS - GATHER YOUR TEAM OF 6 AND EMAIL TEAM NAME, ALL PLAYERS NAMES, EMAIL ADDRESSES AND CELL PHONE NUMBER TO LYLE MASON: papaly716@aol.com
- Venue will be open to players at 1:30 pm.
- Please check in with the Event Desk and your Captain before heading to the courts.
- CAPTAINS - Please stop by the tournament desk to pick up your schedules and player instructions before proceeding to the courts.
- Short player meeting will start at 4:45 pm for Upper Division.
- Play will start by 5:00 pm.
- No warm ups between games. Think speed dating.....
- Remember, games will be to 11 win by 1 OR 12 minutes. Whichever occurs first.
- Whistle will blow at 12 minutes.
- If teams are tied at 12 minutes, next serve is rally scoring and whoever wins that point will win the game regardless of which team served.
- Enter scores immediately after completion of game on the clipboard by each court.
- One player from each team will take the scores to the event desk - together - after each round.
- Leave clipboards at the courts with pencils.
- Spectators are welcome to come and cheer your team on!
- No charge for spectators.
Scores and win/loss records will be updated at the link below as they are reported to the event desk and entered.

TEAM NAMES AND ROSTERS LISTED BELOW ARE MANUALLY EDITED AT A LATER TIME AFTER REGISTRATION HERE.
HERE'S HOW TEAM PICKLEBALL WORKS
Your TEAM will play a five ROUNDs against other registered TEAMS back to back.
Who your TEAM decides to put on each court in each game for each ROUND is totally up to you!
Play with the same partner all day OR mix it up!
PLAYING THE GAMES
After initial warm up, please limit warm ups to keep the games moving.
Random choosing of serve/receive or side by one player holding fingers up behind their back and other player choosing one or two.
Games will be to 11 and win by 1 or timed by your TMPC Coordinator at about 12 minutes. Whichever comes first.
No time outs.
If there are any unresolvable disputes during play, players can request a tournament employee to observe play.
AFTER EACH GAME AND ROUND
After you play, please remember to log your scores at the clipboard at each court..
Do not to start games until all TEAMS have completed that ROUND.
Results will be updated on the SCHEDULES & SCORES as the event progresses.
RESULTS
TEAM winners be ranked on games won, head to head, then points differential of all teams played. Please see USAPA 12.C.3.
